Trap & Skeet Team Update: February 22, 2026
Hello Athletes and Families!
As we gear up for the start of the season, we have several important updates regarding orientations, practice schedules, and some "housekeeping" items to keep things running smoothly. Please take a moment to review the following notes:
Orientation & Season Start
Mark your calendars! We are finishing up our prep phase and heading into the heart of the season.
Returning Athletes Orientation: Tomorrow night, February 23rd. (This is the final orientation for returning members!)
New Athlete Orientation: March 9th.
Official Season Kickoff: March 23rd.
Note: Standard practice days will be Mondays and Fridays.
Range Access & Perks
New Gate Code: The Ankeny Hawks have updated the gate access. The new code is 55876.
Hy-Vee Steak Night & Free Rounds: We are modifying the "free round" policy based on volunteer efforts.
Volunteers will shoot for free on the Friday following Steak Night.
If participation is low, we will suspend free rounds entirely for that week, except for those who volunteered. We need your help to keep this perk alive!
Senior Section (Class of 2026)
