Thank You to Megan and Davis Albaugh and Lon and Adriane web for working the team steak night at Hy Vee. This is an important activity to meet the teams fund raising needs.

I have one more meet to post for the season. There is a skeet and sporting clays meet being planned for Thursday May 29. The goal is to offer 100 sporting clays and 100 skeet. The tickets are just for interest and to help determine who can attend and went. To get all targets in we will have to be prompt

State Tournaments are next on the docket. State Trap begins 6/2 through 6/7 in Cedar Falls. State Squads are posted under information, keep in mind this event is flight based. We learned a hard lesson a few years ago when we were asked to take the field and we still had people in Ankeny who hadn’t left yet. So plan to spend the day. State Skeet (6/21) and Sporting clays squads (6/13-6/14) have been set. Squads filled within minutes. One tactic to enable us to ensure everyone gets a chance to shoot is to take extra squads. Last week I received a call from SCTP asking that I eliminate anything extra as there were teams who didn’t get in. So I used the interest ticket to build the squads. I started a chat room for all athletes I have signed up. Please check to make sure and let me know asap if Ive missed something.

Nationals are the next thing on the calendar. The sign ups work same as state sporting clays and skeet. The log in opens up a certain time and squads immediately begin disappearing, which is why I cant give specific dates at this moment.
Our last practice will be Friday May 30. Coaches will be available for one on ones and we will have regular practice times
