AHSS News and Notes: 11/14/2022 (Final of Fall Season)

14 Nov 2022 by Larry Brandmeyer

We have reached the end of the 2022-2023 AHSS Fall Season. I am excited to share we had some great development amongst our returning athletes, and our Fall new athlete class is well on its way. We encourage you to continue training as much as you can using open trap, skeet or sporting clays nights while the weather allows. Even once it is to cold to be outside, it’s important you safely conduct gun months and mindfulness training to keep your fit and feel in place.

I am also excited to share that a new Head Coach has been named! An announcement will come out later in the week, and then transition activities will take place over the winter. We also hope to still conduct some new coach training, along with shooting instructor classes for those coaches interested in going to the next level.

We will likely be participating in the Reload campaign for 2022, should SSSF elect to run one again this year. Keep an eye on your Team App for information on this fundraising activity, and for information regarding orientation and start of the spring (School) season.

This will serve as the final News and Notes of the season. Have a great holidays!
